What is PRIM profile?
We were focused primarily on the European marketplace before we went global with our luxury custom watches in 2011. Japan and North America are the first markets in our worldwide expansion.
We manufacture a limited number of high-end, precision watches - approximately 5,000 to 6,000 a year.

Prim is currently not represented in any retail stores. All our watches are custom made therefore you cannot find them in any store.
Why have I not previously heard of PRIM?
For many years we focused only on the European market, and primarily on the Czech Republic. We went global in 2011. North America is our first region for PRIM sales outside of Europe.
Can I visit the factory or see the production?
PRIM welcomes customers and visitors alike by appointment to our factory located near Prague in the Czech Republic. We can arrange a private tour with an English language speaking guide.
How many watches a year does PRIM sell?
Currently, we manufacture 5000‑6000 watches a year.
What is the most expensive watch available for purchase?
PRIM has no limits on price. One of the most expensive PRIM watches sold for $70,000. Customers choose from virtually any material, including platinum, gold, silver and Damascus steel. Diamonds or any other fine jewels can be added to your watch.
Are there any famous people who wear PRIM watches?
While some of our VIP customers prefer to remain anonymous, Czech Republic President Vaclav Klaus and famous soccer goalie Petr Cech have purchased watches online from PRIM. We specialize in creating one of a kind watches sought after by high end customers.
How can I be certain my watch is legitimate?
Just send us an email that includes your watch’s serial and we'll be glad to verify its legitimacy.
What is the processing time on your orders?
We ship most watches within 3 months, although special orders might take longer.
Is it safe to purchase PRIM watch online?
We use only secure payments and we do not store your credit card information. You can use PayPal to make your purchase.
How can I pay?
Use any major Credit Card via PayPal, money transfer or cashier's check.
How are the watches shipped?
Our watches are shipped and insured using first class mail FEDEX.
Will I get a world warranty certificate?
PRIM provides a two year worldwide warranty.
How often should my watch be serviced?
We recommend every 2‑3 years. If you purchase our service plan, maintenance is free, yearly.

Are PRIM watches waterproof and to what depth?
Yes, PRIM watches are waterproof to 50 Meters. We do not recommend scuba diving with your watch on, however.
Are my PRIM watch designed for life?
PRIM watches are designed for life ‑ with proper maintenance.
What is the difference between mechanical and QUARTZ movement?
*QUARTZ movements are battery operated movements. We utilize these movements in our ladies watches and PRIM PLUS collection.
*Mechanical watches are sophisticated art pieces, assembled by our professional watchmakers. Mechanical movements require no electricity to run, and are created by individual artisans.
What is the difference between self-winding and manual winding mechanism?
Automatic or self-winding movements feature a rotor which spins when the wearer moves his arm, which winds the watch.
Manual winding movements must be wound once a day.
What is sapphire glass?
Sapphire glass, utilized in most PRIM watches is a durable material that prevents scratches and breakage.
Are PRIM golden watches solid gold or gold plated?
All our gold watches are made from solid 18k gold, they are not gold plated.
How precise are PRIM watches?
Our current movements are precise to ‑6 / +18 sec each day.
How long is PRIM's warranty?

What is PRIM's service plan?
If purchased, this service will provide maintenance of your watch every two years at no charge. The cost is:
Can you return/exchange the watch?
Unless a plain watch is purchased, we cannot take returns or exchanges, as each watch is uniquely designed.
What if I don't like my watch?
We doubt this will happen ‑ but if you have any concerns, just contact us.
What if there is an issue with my watch?
Again, although this is unlikely, just contact a proffesional representative and he will be more than happy to assist you with any concerns or repairs.
What specifically can I customize?
You can customize your entire watch, from the dial, hands, crown, and engravings on the case and rotor. Some customers have created their own watch case as well.
From which materials are your watches made?
PRIM utilizes almost any material from brass, stainless steel, palladium, platinum, gold, and silver to Damascus steel.
What is Damascus steel?
Strong, resilient, and comparatively rare, this steel was used to forge swords in the Middle Ages. S
Can I add diamonds, jewels or any kind of jewelry to my watch?
PRIM allows you to add any jewels or stones to your watch.
