In fact, at PRIM we follow a tradition of hand-crafted watch movements that dates back to the Prague Astronomical Clock, created in 1410 - and still telling time with its original watch movements.
We create precision at its best for each of our classic and vintage watches designed for an international, high-end market. Their traditional movement engineering assists in making our watches unique and special.
Each of our 200 or more movement parts are made right on site, at our factory. Our company is one of the last in the world making every single aspect of the watches in-house.
Our company creates two kinds of watch movements, mechanical and automatic. Both types of movements are crafted meticulously to reveal the talents and skills of our accomplished watchmakers.
PRIM classic watches hold a detailed and delicate combination of gears and springs, created with exactly the same artisanship and skill as vintage watches manufactured before battery power even existed.
Whether a customer is purchasing our Calibre 94, a mechanical watch that requires winding and features seventeen jewels; our Calibre 96.01, a 21-jewel, self-winding mechanical; or our 22-jewel Calibre 98 self-winding mechanical, each watch's 200 to 250 parts are made in our factory to assure quality, reliability, and precision. We also manufacture watches equipped with quartz battery movements.
